This Photo Tour will bring you into the heart of the Kodiak Island National Wildlife Refuge.
We host the Photo Tour on Camp Island in the middle of Karluk Lake a huge 10-mile long beautiful lake carved through the
lush green mountains of Kodiak Island. This area is in the heart of the one of the highest brown bear populations in
the world. We provide exclusive access to this native land so we will be undisturbed in this spectacular area.
You can look all over Alaska and never find an area with consistently more bears. Combine that with our exclusive
access and you have a place that truly is remarkable. In addition to the bears you will have the opportunity to
photograph Sitka Black Tail Deer, Bald Eagles, Red Fox and more. After 5 days of stunning bear photography we will fly back to town, check into a hotel and proceed with 2 days of marine mammal and bird photography aboard the Moon Shadow. |
